The increasing number of micromobility devices on our streets entails certain risks - however if used appropriately, e-scooters could be a remedy to mobility problems especially in cities highly affected by congestion like Brussels or Antwerp.

Our analysis of micromobility has shown that most of the accidents involving e-scooters are the consequence of a lack of experience of the rider. To address this problem and to seize the full potential of micromobility without compromising safety, we developed an unique First Ride Academy.

"Indispensable. Should be lectured in high schools"

We offer a complete training including a theory lecture about the highway code, the rules to respect and good practices; a practical session with a professional trainer on a safe ground to gain first experience and get used to appropriate manoeuvring; and finally an urban initiation - a joint ride on public roads under a watchful eye of our trainer to get the riders accustomed to the real traffic conditions and to strengthen their knowledge.

The training is available in 3 languages – French, Dutch, English – and can be organized for any number of participants in any area of Belgium.

The e-scooters and safety gear are provided
